The Tier 1 Trigger Work
The Sweet Spot is our most popular option. It's wherever your trigger naturally wants to go, and where it's going to feel best. It will be between 2 and 2.5lbs.
Click on the image at the top of the page with all of the triggers, to see the available color choices. We are a Cerakote Certified applicator, and every trigger is coated here in house. These are the colors we commonly stock, but in the future there will be options for truly custom colors. We have edited the above image to appear as true as possible in color to the finished product, but understand that there could be slight variations on color from one batch to the next, or when displayed on different monitors. If you are getting other parts Cerakoted, it is always best to do everything at the same time, so that the colors all match exactly.
There is a little metal tab on the bottom of the trigger housing, towards the front of the trigger guard. If you hold the bolt to the rear, push up on this tab, and let the bolt forward, it will lock the bolt open. This is used as a safety on ranges that require the action to be open when the range is 'cold', or for when you are cleaning the barrel. To close the bolt however, you need three hands. One to hold the rifle, one to pull back on the bolt, and the third to press up on that tab and somehow rotate it to the rear. It's a pain, and not exactly safe if you have a loaded magazine inserted. Our modification makes it so you still lock the action open exactly the same as before, but to close the bolt you just pull back slightly on the charging handle and let it go, just like you do with any other semi-auto firearm. The hold back will will drop out of the way on it's own when you pull back on the charging handle, without you touching the bolt release. This is NOT a last round hold open! No 10/22 built has a last round hold open from the factory. There is one company making them, Google it if you have more questions. We don't carry or install the part.
Complete shipping instructions and information can be found here.
$9.50 return shipping and handling will be added to your order when you check out, regardless of how many trigger jobs you purchase. Once you have purchased this service you will get a confirmation email with all the shipping and packing instructions. Print that off, and include it with your trigger.
We are currently processing triggers on Tuesday and Friday, and doing trigger work seven days a week. This means that you may not get an email immediately when it arrives here, for example, if your trigger arrives on a Saturday. In this case, your trigger will not be opened, the order processed, and you emailed until the following Tuesday. When finished, you will get another email saying that your trigger is finished and shipped, with a tracking number.

I have felt many firearms triggers. I prefer revolver triggers especially made by Smith and Wesson because they feel great, but this is whole other level of trigger work . I bought a tier 1 10/22 trigger from Brimstone. I shipped it, when they received it, it was a 12 day turn around which was fine the wait was well worth it. I selected sweet spot . My trigger came out as 2 lb which was awesome because that's the lowest a stock trigger will go. I have seen the videos and was impressed but the videos don't do it justice the trigger feels amazing. It changes the way the gun feels and shoots. I can place shot like I never have before because I'm not moving firearm to pull the trigger. Well worth the money!
This is a follow up to another review I wrote earlier. I was shooting with a fellow “firearms enthusiast” the other day. He was shooting his ultra trick suppressed takedown and offered to let me take a few shots. When I started my trigger pull I stopped because I thought I had a malfunction! Turns out I have just been spoiled by my tier 1 trigger jobs. The difference between stock and Brimstone is that great! I let him try out my trigger and the look on his face was priceless. I think you may have a new customer soon.
Second tier 1 that Brimstone has done for me. Both are top quality jobs that I would recommend to anyone. This last job was perfect as shipped but when I put my Kidd mag release and plunger in the trigger assembly the mag release would push up on the bolt release and bind. I replaced the auto bolt release that brimstone installed with a stock one and then one from Kidd and neither had a problem. Just something to be aware of if you plan on changing the mag release.
Had the Tier 1 done to my Ruger 10/22 trigger. Got it back in a week and a half. They called me to help straighten out some confusion caused by me on the ordering form. Trigger came back with 2.0 lbs of pull and the the break was clean and sharp. Couldn't asked for better commutation and a great job to the trigger.
2.1 lbs, no pre travel, no after travel just a crisp break and extremely short yet noticeable reset. I don’t think you can get a better trigger for the money or even double the money. Ordered on a Monday night and received my new trigger the following Monday. First customer review I have ever written, took a company like Brimstone and the product they put out to get me to write one. All my trigger groups are getting sent in.
You can buy a CNC machined from billet single stage group elsewhere for about double the money and have something made by the Gods to The Blare of Clarion Horns. They are beautiful, but do they do anything better than Tier 1? How could that be? My group has no slop of any kind both pre and post squeeze with a measured two pound pull. Getting rid of the out of the box clunky trigger is the love this gun begs forLet's say you bought a CNC machined group anyway. What do you do with your original group? There is no market for it, and for that matter, there is no market for your new machined group either, or if there is one, it will be at a fraction of the cost of what you paid for it. Stay with the original group!Brimstone has it right. Customer service was what it should be. I got a little note back with the group saying what the measured pull was, there were no other issues in my case, and where they thought my group fit into their spectrum which was Very Clean. I should say so...Very Clean indeed.
Look, just pull the trigger on this deal and be done with it. If you are not happy with it, email me and I’ll buy it from you. There is zero take up, none, nada, zilch. Apply pressure and bang! it breaks so solid you will keep trying it to be sure. Same with over travel, there just isn’t any! It works exactly like they say it does. It’s not bragging, if you can back it up, and they do. Bravo Zulu guys and thank you!
I have a 230.00 volquartsan trigger that I thought was good. I feel now I wasted a ton of money after getting a tier 1 job done on another ruger. It's worth every penny and will be sending in another soon. The money is well worth what you get...pretty much perfection.
If you have ever heard the expression of a trigger break compared to glass breaking or a glass rod breaking and weren't sure what it meant, send your trigger group to these guys, ask for the tier1 in the sweet spot and you will then know exactly what the expression means. There is a minimal reset, no overtravel and ZERO grit or slop. Communication and customer service was outstanding. Brimstone understands that if you make a quality product, sell it a reasonable price and back it with good service, customers will be happy and come back. They have done all three of my 10/22's. Great jobs guys!
