The Trigger Job
So. We have two options. The first is what we call the sweet spot, and that's where your trigger naturally wants to go, and where it's going to feel best. It's going to land between 2 and 2.5lbs, and it will feel great. This pull weight range is safe for this trigger group, it's light enough for target shooting, but not so light as to be unsafe for a beginning shooter, or a hunter. If you have a specific weight in mind (for example, you want it as light as it will go) feel free to make a note of that on your order when you send it in, and we will see what your trigger can do to accommodate that.
Click on the image at the top of the page with all of the triggers, to see the available color choices. We are a Cerakote Certified applicator, and every trigger is coated here in house. These are the colors we commonly stock, but in the future there will be options for truly custom colors. We have edited the above image to appear as true as possible in color to the finished product, but understand that there could be slight variations on color from one batch to the next, or when displayed on different monitors. If you are getting other parts Cerakoted, it is always best to do everything at the same time, so that the colors all match exactly.

Everything fits well, feels great, I had some issues because of my own ignorance in getting this back together in the ruger from the magazine pull release messing up. Will got on the phone twice with me to help me along and was very patient with me despite my technical ignorance.
Appreciate it Will.
Thanks for the greatest trigger that I could have imagined; Despite the problems during this Corona Virus;
I intend to tell everone I know about Brimstone
Purchased a 10/22 trigger group from Brimstone and had the Tier 2 work done. I'm pleased....almost no creep, 2lb break, good short reset. so far so good.
I had 2 Ruger 10/22 tier trigger upgrades done on my stainless bull barrel rifles and what a difference. Turned sluggish triggers into crisp triggers with no more slack in the pull. The rifles went from accurate to tack drives. It was well worth the money spent. Also upgraded the magazine releases., another vast improvement.
After 60-days of waiting I still don't have my trigger back. Buy a KIDD trigger kit for the same money and have your trigger running in less than a week. Terrible service. Never again.
Great communication and even better price for an unbelievably nice job on my BX trigger - 2 lb. pull is sweet, with no creep to a clean crisp break. Couldn't ask for more on my Ruger .22 Charger build. Love it and highly recommend Brimstone. Great people and wonderful work. Bravo!
I am very happy with the Tier 2 service. The factory trigger was horrible. It is now crisp and consistent. Another shooter at the range noticed how well the bolt hold worked as compared to the original unworked version. Bottom line is that the gun is now fun to shoot. Thank you!
I was kind of expecting brimstone to install the extended mag release since the Tier 2 and 1 showed it installed in the pictures and the Tier 1 didn't...
Overall the quality of the new trigger is great. I love the crisp clean break and the lightening of the pull.
Previously, I wrote a couple of very unflattering reviews of Brimstone and the work that I had done. Very long lead time, 7 weeks on the original trigger job, 5 weeks on the repair. In addition, I was given estimated deliveries that were not met when I contacted them.
Last Monday when I called, I had the good fortune of David Seth answering the phone. He was surprised to hear of the long lead time particularly on the repair. He explained that he had been working in another industry after founding Brimstone and had not been managing it full time. The day that I talked to him was his first day back full-time. Long story short, he found my trigger, checked it out himself, kept me informed and I just received it back, 5 days after first talking to him.
So, onto the trigger. Note: I am very particular about trigger pulls. The T/C R22 triggers don't turn out as well as the Ruger's and I knew that beforehand. What I just got from Brimstone was immensely better than the factory trigger and much better than their original work. There is still some creep but it's very minimal, smooth, and consistent. I can live with that. I could have just bought a BX trigger for it I suppose but I wanted to retain the last shot bolt hold open feature of the T/CR22.
In the end, I'm happy with the work. Just wish the whole experience had been a lot smoother but David made it right once he was aware of it. That's all you can ask.
