Preorder available now: After much work and anticipation, our new 10/22 trigger work is online! We are offering a limited number of pre orders here. The initial run of parts is in production, but we wanted to launch something on 10/22 day, so here you go. We expect the parts to be ready for install middle of November, so if your trigger is here by then, yours will be the first completed.

History: For 13 years now, we have been reworking factory 10/22 triggers. You shipped us your trigger, we modified the internals, and shipped it back. We have done hundreds of thousands of them over the years, shipped from all over the world. But the real problem is, we were trying to convince factory parts to perform in a way they were never intended to perform. Sometimes they did great, other times... not so much.

The solution was to manufacture our own parts, and that's what we've done here.

The Parts: The hammer and sear are machined from billet tool steel, heat treated, then hand finished and polished as needed. This kit uses our own proprietary disconnector design, allowing it to be installed in either a standard 10/22 or a BX trigger group. It also gives you a very fast, smooth, and positive trigger reset.

The hammer and sear are cut with our proprietary engagement, resulting in a very light, safe, and consistent trigger break.

As all of our triggers have had, the trigger shoe is our Cerakoted billet aluminum trigger. It uses a torsion spring on the trigger itself, and the factory trigger return hole will be drilled out and an overtravel stop will be installed there. This looks very clean, and works incredibly well, eliminating all the terrible crunching and binding of the factory trigger return system.

This will all result in an incredibly clean and reliable single stage trigger at roughly 1.75lbs, possibly a little lighter. The reset will also be incredibly quick, positive, and short, ideal for any action shooting sports like steel challenge.

The Future: These parts will ONLY be available as our trigger work for the first several months at least. In the future, we expect that they will be available as a drop in trigger kit, but for right now we want to personally install every one. We expect that once they are available as a drop in kit, we will still have the 'trigger work' option available.

This will be a fairly small batch of parts available as a presale now. Once this sale is gone, they wont be available again until all the presales have been installed and we have more new parts in stock.

THE AUTO BOLT RELEASE MODIFICATION

There is a little metal tab on the bottom of the trigger housing, towards the front of the trigger guard. If you hold the bolt to the rear, push up on this tab, and let the bolt forward, it will lock the bolt open. This is used as a safety on ranges that require the action to be open when the range is 'cold', or for when you are cleaning the barrel. To close the bolt however, you need three hands. One to hold the rifle, one to pull back on the bolt, and the third to press up on that tab and somehow rotate it to the rear. It's a pain, and not exactly safe if you have a loaded magazine inserted. Our modification makes it so you still lock the action open exactly the same as before, but to lower it, you just pull back slightly on the bolt and let it go, just like you do with any other semi-auto firearm. The hold back will drop out of the way on it's own when you pull back on the bolt, without you touching it. This is NOT a last round hold open! No 10/22 built has a last round hold open from the factory. There is one company making them, Google it if you have more questions. We don't carry or install the part.

Best money I have spent on my 10/22. Not a match grade trigger, but magnitudes better than stock. Turnaround was about two weeks from the time a sent it out.

I had a trigger done before that performs excellent. This second trigger is terrible the creep is worse than before I sent it to you. The individual that did the work sent a note but their handwriting is so bad I could not read one word or his name. I will send it back and you can either fix it properly or send my money back. I sent in a metal trigger group from a 1968 manufacture 10/22 carbine, for basic trigger work. The original group always had a long, gritty, take-up before a heavy trigger pull. When the group came back, it was like a totally different group. The grit and long take-up is gone. The trigger now breaks like glass breaking. The pull weight is just right. Thank you Brimstone! You will see more of my trigger groups in the future.

Great job. I got a trigger back that was much improved. In my opinion better than the BX for cheaper. Total process took about 3 weeks, most of it was with USPS. I got a personal from the gunsmith describing the trigger. I requested "sweet spot" it actuall breaks at 2.0 Lb. I highly recommend their work.
