This is our billet machined trigger ONLY. Just the trigger. Not a trigger group. Not a trigger job. Just the trigger, our torsion spring, two set screws, and the tools you need to install it.
Let me repeat. This is just the machined trigger, like in the picture to the. Just so we are all clear. So don't buy this and then complain when ONLY A TRIGGER shows up in the mail. Because I know someone is going to do that...
We include our torsion trigger return spring, set screws, and the necessary drill and tap to install them, with every trigger we sell. If you do not want to use our trigger return system, this trigger shoe will replace your factory BX trigger shoe straight across and will work fine with the factory trigger return system. Feel free to toss the springs and set screws, but obviously that will result in only a cosmetic improvement to your trigger; the function/feel will be unchanged.
This will ONLY work with the BX trigger group! In case you've been living under a rock in the 10/22 world, you're aware that the BX trigger has radically different internal geometry than a normal 10/22 trigger group, while working in the same housing. As such, a standard factory 10/22 trigger blade will not work in a BX group, and the BX trigger blade will not work in a standard factory group.
And let me tell you, our trigger with its torsion spring trigger return system makes a massive difference! The factory BX trigger isn't exactly bad, but it's long and squishy. The torsion trigger return spring is smoother and doesn't stack quite the same as the plunger-based spring that Ruger uses, so instead of just long squishy movement, it helps to make 'stages' in the trigger appear. Of course, without polishing and the rest of the work we do, there will probably still be creep. But this trigger helps a lot. The overtravel stop is also very nice, and it's been our experience that this trigger greatly reduces the pre travel in the trigger as well. Your millage may very on that one, but that's what we are seeing.
THESE ARE NOT DROP IN! They will require some fitting, and if you elect to get the (awesome) trigger return spring kit, that will require permanent modification to your trigger housing. Read the directions below, and make sure that you are comfortable with the work before you order the parts.

Brimstone Custom BX Trigger
The item arrived quickly, and I downloaded the installation instructions. I disassembled the BX Trigger and tested the Brimstone Trigger for fit. Hoorah! I had one of the 10% triggers that did not need any adjusting. A third hand would have been nice while trying to reassemble it. I tested the rifle with some dummy rounds to ensure I had firing pin strikes. The triggers checks in at 2 pounds plus or minus 1 tick. Love it.

Trigger good, spring kit bad
The trigger itself is awesome. The flat face helps give me feedback on my finger position. Customer service from the company is pretty good. But I wouldn't recommend the spring kit at all. Somehow it increased the trigger pull weight. Just a little though. And it put a little squishy feel to the trigger during the pull. And once you add the trigger, there is no undoing it.

Ordered Crimson Red, looks a little glossy on the website. It is actually a very flat red... Oh well, product itself is pretty good as well as fit and function.

BX trigger full kit
I ordered the BX trigger and spring kit. This came with there amazing aluminum trigger in your color of choice, a drill bit, a tap, 2 screws, and 2 springs. After following the installation guide on the website the install went very smooth with a little common sense and now this is probable the best feeling trigger I have ever felt! Great product and super high quality

Custom BX Trigger with tools and springs
I bought the BX Trigger kit + tools and springs to install on my Thompson Center T/C R22, and the kit works perfect. The trigger pull with the factory T/C R22 trigger was a little over 3 lbs, and after this Brimstone kit was installed, it's down to just a hair over 2 lbs. The kit came with the trigger itself, 2 set screws + allen wrench, 2 trigger springs (I guess one of the springs is just a spare), 1 drill bit, and a 10-32 tap. Installation was simple, just follow the instructions provided on the website. Not all of the steps have to be followed so check fitment before removing material from the trigger housing. Overall, I'm pleased with the result. No regrets with this purchase.

BX trigger kit
It completely changed the entire setup for the BEST!! Minimal pre travel, if any at all. Adjustable over travel is excellent. Minimal skill set needed to do this job. Buy the entire kit. Well worth the extra cost. I can’t speak enough how great this is. KIDD who?

Great trigger
The trigger is exactly like they described it. I have a couple of their tier 1 triggers , love them but had to see what the Bx trigger was about. Wonderful light feeling. It’s lighter than my tier 1’s but not the same feeling. The tier one is a clear defined pressure wall and little to no take up. I would describe the Bx trigger as a rolling break trigger. It has a small amount of take up and it has a rolling break. It reminds me of some high dollar rolling break triggers desired by bullseye shooters. The reset is super snappy and extremely responsive. All in all I say it’s a great trigger. Thank you Brimstone!
